Description

The Bently Nevada 31000-28-05-40-040-02-02 provides an external mounting assembly for a 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe used in rotating machinery monitoring systems. The housing assembly supports secure installation of the probe outside the machine casing while protecting the probe and cable from industrial operating conditions. It also allows probe adjustment and replacement without dismantling the machine. This configuration includes a 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe with a 0.5 m integrated probe cable, a 40-inch probe sleeve, and a 4.0-inch probe penetration. The assembly is supplied with two conduit fittings to simplify cable routing and uses a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread for installation on compatible machinery. The housing assembly provides mechanical support for the proximity probe while maintaining the correct sensing position relative to the rotating shaft.
