Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330910-00-14-05-01-00 is a 3300 NSv Proximity Probe for machinery condition monitoring in tight spaces or on small targets. Because this specific model variant utilizes a compact eddy-current sensor layout, its core purpose is to deliver accurate displacement readings where standard 5mm or 8mm probes face geometric layout limits.The 3300 XL NSv Transducer System has an Average Scale Factor of 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil), which is the most common output for eddy current transducers. Its enhanced sideview and small target characteristics give it a shorter linear range than the Bently Nevada 3300 XL-series 5 and 8 mm Transducer System. The 1.5 mm (60 mils) of linear range exceeds the linear range of the 3000-series 190 Transducer System.

A:Set a digital multimeter to resistance mode. Measure across the inner core pin and the outer connector barrel to ensure it reads within 3.7 to 4.7 Ohms. Next, test for continuity between the center lead pin and the external armored jacket. Any registered continuity or low resistance indicates a ground fault inside the probe body or cable.
Q:Can I use this probe with standard 3300 XL 5 mm or 8 mm components?
A:No. Cross-matching causes severe calibration errors. This probe must be paired with an NSv extension cable (such as the 330930 cable series) and a dedicated 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor.

A:NSv stands for Near-field Systems version. Use it when tight physical spaces restrict standard 5 mm or 8 mm probes.
