Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330910-00-05-05-01-CN is a 3300 XL NSv proximity probe for vibration and displacement monitoring in confined spaces or tight geometries where standard 5mm or 8mm probes face clearance constraints.The primary uses for the 3300 XL NSv Transducer System are for areas where counter bore, sideview, or rearview restrictions limit the use of standard Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm Transducer Systems. It is also ideal for small target applications, such as measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) or axial position on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in). The 3300 XL NSv Transducer System design allows it to replace both the 3300 RAM Transducer Systems and the 3000-series or 7000-series 190 Transducer System.

Q:What wiring configuration is ideal for field transmitters?
A:The probe has a total linear range of 1.5 mm (60 mils). It safely measures targets from a distance of 0.25 mm to 1.75 mm away from the probe tip
Q:Can I use this probe on tight target geometries or small shafts?
A:Yes, it is designed for target restrictions. However, if your shaft diameter is under 13 mm (0.5 in), expect scale factor shifts. Operators must reduce the target gap to safely minimize data errors.
Q:Is this unit backward-compatible with my older hardware?
A:Yes, the 3300 NSv series is mechanically and electrically interchangeable with legacy 3300 RAM probes. You can upgrade older 3300 RAM or 3000/7000-series 190 systems using your existing extension cables and monitors.
