Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330910-00-05-05-01-00 is a metric, armored 3300 NSv Proximity Probe for vibration and position monitoring in confined industrial machinery. Part of the 3300 XL NSv Transducer System, it features an M10 x 1 threaded case, a 0.5-meter total length, and specialized cross-talk immunity.The primary uses for the 3300 XL NSv Transducer System are for areas where counter bore, sideview, or rearview restrictions limit the use of standard Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm Transducer Systems. It is also ideal for small target applications, such as measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) or axial position on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in). The 3300 XL NSv Transducer System design allows it to replace both the 3300 RAM Transducer Systems and the 3000-series or 7000-series 190 Transducer System.

Centrifugal Air & Process Gas Compressors: Extensively used to monitor shaft dynamics in compact compressor designs with constrained interior cavities.
Refrigeration Compressors: Integrated into fluid-filmed industrial refrigeration units for continuous asset health tracking.
Restricted Target Spaces: Specifically deployed where physical features like deep counterbores, side-view walls, or rear-view clearances prevent standard sensors from obtaining precise measurements without cross-talk or signal interference.
Radial Vibration: Tracking the high-speed dynamic orbital path of small machine shafts supported by fluid-film bearings.

Q:What is the linear range of this probe?
A:The probe has a total linear range of 1.5 mm (60 mils). It safely measures targets from a distance of 0.25 mm to 1.75 mm away from the probe tip
Q:Can I use this probe with a standard 3300 XL 8 mm Proximitor?
A:No. The NSv probe requires an NSv-specific Proximitor Sensor to work correctly. Because the sensing coil physics are different, mixing components will cause massive calibration errors.
Q:What is the target calibration material?
A:The system comes standard-calibrated to AISI 4140 steel. Using it on other shaft metals changes the scale factor output.
