The modification includes dedicated changes to the printed wiring assembly (PWA), allowing the sensor to compensate for the magnetic permeability and metallurgical properties of the specified shaft material. As a result, measurement accuracy is maintained while reducing the linearity deviations that can occur when a standard sensor is used on this type of target material. This model is intended for use as part of a 9-meter 3300 XL proximity transducer system, consisting of the proximity probe, extension cable, and the matching Proximitor sensor. Factory calibration is performed for the specified shaft material so that the complete system produces the expected output characteristics without additional material compensation during installation.
