Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330905-00-23-05-01-CN is a 3300 NSv Proximity Probe for specialized industrial applications where tight installation space or small target sizes prevent the use of standard 5mm or 8mm sensors. The primary uses for the 3300 XL NSv Transducer System are for areas where counter bore, sideview, or rearview restrictions limit the use of standard Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm Transducer Systems. It is also ideal for small target applications, such as measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) or axial position on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in). The 3300 XL NSv Transducer System design allows it to replace both the 3300 RAM Transducer Systems and the 3000-series or 7000-series 190 Transducer System.

Small Target Measurement: Ideal for tracking components with highly restricted surface areas, such as small-diameter shafts or thin target wheels.
Confined Geometry Monitoring: Specially designed for installations dealing with tight counterbores, side-view restrictions, or rear-view clearances where standard probes would suffer from side-loading or signal interference.
Radial Vibration & Positioning: Tracks dynamic shaft motion to diagnose misalignment, imbalance, and oil whirl in rotating machinery.
Tachometer & Speed Measurements: Provides exact zero-speed tracking and standard speed counts by measuring gear teeth or notches.

A:No. The 3300 NSv probe requires a matching 3300 NSv Proximitor Sensor or a 990 Vibration Transmitter built for NSv scaling. It is incompatible with standard 3300 XL 5mm or 8mm sensors.

A:It runs on the eddy current principle. The matched Proximitor sensor drives an RF signal to the probe tip coil, mapping target distance by tracking changes in the induced eddy currents.
