Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330905-00-23-05-01-00 is a specialized 3300 NSv proximity probe for non-contact shaft vibration and displacement monitoring in spaces where standard probes cannot fit. Its primary industrial purpose is to safeguard small, compact rotating machinery with tight installation tolerances or reduced clearance constraints.The primary uses for the 3300 XL NSv Transducer System are for areas where counter bore, sideview, or rearview restrictions limit the use of standard Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm Transducer Systems. It is also ideal for small target applications, such as measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) or axial position on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in).

Centrifugal Air Compressors: Frequently deployed to handle high-speed radial shaft vibration and thrust positions in space-constrained compressor housings.
Refrigeration Compressors: Ideal for monitoring tight internal bearing environments common in heavy-duty industrial chilling equipment.
Process Gas Compressors: Extensively utilized across chemical production lines where localized side-view clearance or counterbore paths restrict normal sensor deployment.
Small Pumps & Electric Motors: Fitted on auxiliary high-speed equipment featuring narrow fluid-film bearings or restricted structural access points.

Q:What total length configuration should my system use?
A:The probe cable length and extension cable length must combine to exactly match the total calibrated length of the Proximitor. Since this model contains a 0.5-meter probe cable, you must use a 4.5-meter extension cable to run into a standard 5.0-meter Proximitor system.
Q:Can I mix this probe with standard 3300 XL 5mm or 8mm extension cables?
A:No. The 3300 NSv probe has completely different electrical characteristics and mechanical tuning compared to standard 3300 XL 8mm lines. You must exclusively pair it with a 3300 NSv extension cable and a 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor.
Q:What is the electrical scale factor of this probe system?
A:When connected to a matching 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor, it features an Average Scale Factor (ASF) of 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil). It has a linear measurement range of approximately 1.5 mm (60 mils).
