Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330876-02-90-00-00 is a 3300 XL 50 mm Proximity Probe, which is an ultra-high-range sensor engineered primarily for heavy industrial machinery where very large shaft movement and displacement must be measured accurately.
The 3300 XL 50 mm Transducer System consists of a separate 50 mm probe, an extension cable, and a 3300 XL 50 mm Proximitor Sensor. The large diameter coil gives this system a maximum linear range of 27.9 mm (1100 mils), the longest linear range of our eddy current transducer line. This linear range makes the 3300 XL 50 mm Transducer System ideal for measuring the differential expansion (DE) or rotor expansion (RX) of large steam turbine generators that results from the difference in growth rates between the turbine rotor and the machine stator (casing).

Large-Scale Water and Wastewater Facilities: Applied to massive pumping stations utilizing heavy rotating machinery that requires continuous condition monitoring.
Large Industrial Compressors: Deployed on centrifugal and axial compressors to monitor shaft vibration and thrust bearing wear during high-pressure gas processing.
Heavy Rotating Industrial Machinery: Used across large-scale industrial complexes (such as oil refineries and chemical plants) to monitor massive fluid-film bearing machines, where significant structural shifting or thrust movements can occur.
Large Scale Pumps: Tracks real-time radial shaft vibration inside fluid film bearings to prevent oil film breakdowns.

Q:Can I connect this probe to an 8 mm or 25 mm Proximitor?
A:No. The 50 mm probe requires a dedicated 3300 XL 50 mm Proximitor Sensor. Transducer systems are matched by electrical impedance and cannot be interchanged.
Q:What does the FluidLoc cable option offer?
A:The -00 cable option signifies a High-Temperature FluidLoc design. It prevents oil or other process fluids from leaking out of the machine through the inside of the sensor cable.
Q:Does this specific part number include protective armor?
A:No. The third suffix code (-00) specifies an unarmored cable. If you require flexible stainless steel conduit armor, you must select an alternative option code like -01 or -02.
