Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330876-03-10-00-00 is a 3300 XL 50 mm Proximity Probe designed primarily for Differential Expansion monitoring in heavy-duty industrial rotating machinery. Because of its massive 50 mm tip diameter, it provides an extended linear measurement range (up to 28 mm or 1100 mils), making it essential for tracking large axial thermal movements where standard 8 mm or 11 mm probes lack sufficient range.The 3300 XL 50 mm Transducer System consists of a separate 50 mm probe, an extension cable, and a 3300 XL 50 mm Proximitor Sensor. The large diameter coil gives this system a maximum linear range of 27.9 mm (1100 mils), the longest linear range of our eddy current transducer line.
Application:
Centrifugal & Axial Compressors: Used on massive, high-throughput compressors where standard 8 mm or 11 mm probes lack the necessary measurement range to cover extreme thermal expansions.
High-Power Pumps & Blowers: Deployed in water treatment, chemical processing, and refining plants where machinery components experience wide physical shifts during operation.
Extended Linear Range: The 50 mm probe tip offers a vastly larger linear measurement field than standard eddy-current sensors, making it possible to capture movements up to several millimeters or inches.
Standard Target Material: Calibrated out of the box to track standard AISI 4140 steel targets, which is the foundational metal used for most industrial turbomachinery shafts.

Q:What does the FluidLoc cable option offer?
A:The 00 cable option specifies a FluidLoc jacket. This prevents oil, steam, or process gasses from wicking or leaking through the inside of the cable jacket back into the connection housing or junction box if the probe head encounters extreme pressure or seal degradation.
Q:What else is needed for a complete transducer system?
A:The probe cannot operate standalone. To build a complete functional loop, you must pair it with a separate 3300 XL 50 mm Extension Cable and a matching 3300 XL 50 mm Proximitor Sensor.
Q:Is it interchangeable with other 3300 XL components?
A:Yes, when used with the correct matching extension cable and Proximitor sensor specified for the 50 mm system. Mixing components from different transducer system types is not recommended.
