Product Description:

The 330851-04-000-023-10-01-00 3300 XL 25 mm Proximity Probe is designed for maximum survivability in the harshest steam turbine DE environments. It can continually operate and maintain its accuracy in high temperatures up to 200 °C (392 °F), and can withstand intermittent high temperatures up to 250 °C (482 °F). The 25 mm probe has both a front and rear seal which, combined with the FluidLoc cable (standard on all 25 mm probes), prevents moisture from entering the probe tip. Special high-temperature ClickLoc connectors are also standard on the probe and extension cable.

Power Generation: Deployed heavily on mid-size to large steam turbine generators, nuclear turbines, and gas combustion systems.
Oil & Gas: Used on large-scale process gas compressors, critical pump sets, and downstream refining machinery.
Heavy Manufacturing: Integrated into major air compression trains and large-scale refrigeration compressors.
Rugged Position Tracking: It measures static sliding or positioning profiles inside heavy industrial machinery.

A:The sensor measures differential expansion, axial position, or high-amplitude vibration. It works on the eddy current principle to measure the distance between the probe tip and a target conductive surface directly into an output voltage signal.
Q:Can I mix this probe with older system components?
A:No. To maintain system accuracy, you must match all system components. You cannot mix a 3300 XL 25 mm probe with old 7200-series cables or sensors. You must use a complete 3300 XL 25 mm system loop.

Q:How does it handle moisture and harsh environments?
A:The probe features a patented FluidLoc internal seal. This construction prevents moisture or steam from leaking through the cable into surrounding open areas.
