Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330130-030-03-CN is a 3.0-meter 3300 XL Standard Extension Cable for industrial vibration and proximity monitoring systems. It acts as a critical signal link between a proximity probe and a Proximitor sensor.The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.
Application:
Steam and Gas Turbines: Monitors radial vibration, axial thrust position, and thermal casing expansion to prevent catastrophic rotor-to-stator contact.
Centrifugal and Axial Compressors: Tracks high-frequency vibration and shaft movement during surge or high-load conditions in pipeline and processing stations.
Large Industrial Pumps & Fans: Detects misalignment, unbalance, and bearing wear in boiler feed pumps, cooling tower fans, and water intake systems.
Electric Motors and Generators: Used for machinery health monitoring on multi-megawatt prime movers driving crucial plant processes.

A:Yes. The 3300 XL cabling system is backwards compatible with older, non-XL Bently Nevada 3300 series transducer components. However, matching the total system length (typically 5-meter or 9-meter configurations) is required to maintain sensor calibration and linearity.
