The Bently Nevada 330101-00-12-10-01-05 is an 8 mm eddy current proximity probe belonging to the industry-standard 3300 XL Proximity Transducer System. Its primary function is to provide highly precise, non-contact measurement of static shaft position and dynamic shaft vibration.The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advanced performance in our eddy current proximity transducer systems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems provide this level of performance and support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components.

Q:Can I use this probe with older, non-XL Bently Nevada sensors?

A:Yes. The 3300 XL 8 mm components are designed to be electrically and physically interchangeable with older, non-XL 3300 5 mm and 8 mm components. 
Q:Does this specific model feature physical cable armor?
A:No. The base 330101 model represents an unarmored probe. If your environment subjects the cable to physical abrasion, sharp edges, or heavy debris, you should select the 330102 version instead, which includes flexible stainless steel armor.

Q:What are the pressure sealing limits for this probe tip?
A:The probe relies on a Viton O-ring to seal differential pressure between the tip and the case. However, Bently Nevada does not pressure test these units prior to shipping. For high-pressure process sealing, a separate fluid-isolated housing or a custom-tested design must be explicitly requested.
