Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330101-00-10-10-12-CN is a 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe for non-contact displacement and vibration monitoring in critical industrial rotating machinery. It is widely used in heavy industrial environments such as power plants and processing facilities.The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

Q:What is FluidLoc cable and why is it used?
A:The "-12" option indicates a FluidLoc cable. This specialized cabling is designed to prevent oil, water, or other industrial process fluids from wicking through the inside of the cable. It is ideal for probes mounted inside machine casings where oil mist or splashing is common.
Q:Do I need to calibrate this probe before installing it?
A:No. All Bently Nevada 3300 XL transducer components are interchangeable and pre-calibrated from the factory. You do not need to perform a bench calibration when swapping the probe.
Q:What target material is this probe standardly calibrated for?
A:The 3300 XL system is standardly calibrated to AISI 4140 steel. If your machinery target consists of a different material, the scale factor may change, requiring a custom factory calibration.
