Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330101-00-08-10-02-00 is an industrial-grade 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe for critical machinery protection and condition monitoring. It targets highly demanding, heavy industrial applications where precise, non-contact measurements of vibration, shaft position, and rotational speed are required to prevent catastrophic machine failures.The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advanced performance in our eddy current proximity transducer systems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems provide this level of performance and support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components.

Q:Can I use this probe with non-XL 3300 systems?
A:Yes. The 3300 XL 8 mm components are both electrically and physically interchangeable with older, non-XL Bently Nevada 3300 5 mm and 8 mm components. You must observe the minimum permissible cable bend radius during routing.
Q:Does it require a matching extension cable?
A:Yes. Because the probe total length option is 1.0 meter (3.3 feet), it must be paired with an extension cable and a Proximitor Sensor to achieve a total system length of either 5.0 meters or 9.0 meters depending on your specific Proximitor model configuration.
Q:Is the probe pressurized or sealed?
A:.Yes, it features a Viton O-ring designed to seal differential pressure between the probe tip and the case. However, exposing the probe tip to temperatures below -34 °C (-30 °F) can cause premature failure of this pressure seal.
