Description

The Bently Nevada 330172-08-12-50-02-00 is a 3300 5 mm Proximity Probe used for non-contact measurement of shaft vibration and position in rotating machinery applications. It is part of the 3300 5 mm Proximity Transducer System, which consists of a 3300 5 mm probe, a 3300 XL extension cable, and a 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor. The system uses eddy current sensing technology to measure the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface. The output voltage changes in proportion to this distance, allowing the system to measure both dynamic vibration signals and static shaft position values. The primary applications include vibration and position monitoring on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurement applications.
