Description

The Bently Nevada 31000-00-00-15-047-01-02 is a 31000 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly designed to provide a secure mounting location and environmental protection for proximity probe installations through a machine casing. This configuration is supplied without a probe, probe cable, or standoff adapter, includes a 4.7-inch probe penetration option, one 3/4-14 NPT conduit fitting with two sealing plugs, and a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread. Constructed from glass-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) with corrosion-resistant stainless-steel components, it is intended for long-term use in demanding industrial environments. The assembly is typically used with radially mounted vibration or Keyphasor® transducers and is fully compliant with the requirements of API 670 for externally mounted proximity probe housings. When installed with an approved transducer system and appropriate intrinsic safety barriers, it can also be applied in intrinsically safe hazardous-area installations.
