Product Description:

The 330901-00-90-05-02-00 probe and extension cable are mechanically and electrically compatible with previous 3300 RAM proximity probes and extension cables, allowing direct interchangeability. Compared with the 3300 RAM probe, the NSv probe provides increased chemical resistance, making it suitable for many process compressor applications. It also offers improved side-view characteristics over the 3000-series 190 probe when installed at the same probe target distance.

The probe comes in varying probe case configurations, including armored and unarmored 1/4-28, 3⁄8-24, M8X1 and M10X1
probe threads. The reverse mount 3300 NSv probe comes standard with either 3⁄8-24 or M10X1 threads.

Application:

Centrifugal Air Compressors: Used for precise radial vibration and shaft position monitoring on heavy-duty industrial air compressors operating within tight internal clearances.
Industrial Refrigeration Plants: Integrated into large-scale cooling and chiller compressor packages for continuous thrust position supervision and machinery protection.
Process Gas Compressor Facilities: Applied on high-pressure hydrocarbon and gas processing machinery where compact clearances require a narrow side-view footprint for non-contact measurements.
Fluid-Filmed Bearing Systems: Installed near fluid-film bearings to monitor shaft movement on targets smaller than 51 mm where standard 5 mm or 8 mm sensors cannot fit.
