Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 330780-51-05 3300 xL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor has a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on fluid film bearing machines. The large 11 mm tip enables this transducer system to have a longer linear range compared to our standard 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System.

Application:

Axial Thrust Position Monitoring: Measures the longitudinal float or displacement of a machine's shaft. It prevents catastrophic rotor-to-stator contact in large turbines and compressors.
Radial Vibration and Displacement: Tracks dynamic shaft movement within fluid-film bearings to detect unbalance, misalignment, or bearing wear.
Keyphasor and Speed Measurements: Registers once-per-turn voltage pulses from a shaft keyway to calculate precise rotational speed and phase angles for diagnostic mapping.
Industrial Turbines: Deployed heavily on large-scale steam and gas turbines utilized in power generation plants to track thermal growth and thrust position.

A:No. You must connect this probe to a dedicated 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor. Mixing probe diameters corrupts calibration and alters the voltage scale factor.
