Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 330701-00-15-10-02-05 has a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on fluid film bearing machines. The large 11 mm tip enables this transducer system to have a longer linear range compared to our standard 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System. It is primarily used in the following.

Application:

Axial (Thrust) Position Measurements: Monitors the axial displacement of a rotating shaft to prevent catastrophic internal contact within a machine.
Ramp Differential Expansion Measurements: Measures the relative growth difference between a steam turbine rotor and its casing during startup and shutdown thermal cycles.
Tachometer and Zero Speed Measurements: Captures exact rotational speed data, ensuring that large machinery does not suffer damage from overspeed or reverse rotation.
Reciprocating Compressor Rod Position:Tracks rod drop or dynamic rod position to identify premature rider band wear and avoid piston-to-cylinder impact.

A:No. You must connect this probe to a dedicated 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor. Mixing probe diameters corrupts calibration and alters the voltage scale factor.
