Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330709-050-120-10-02-00 is an 11 mm Proximity Probe belonging to the industry-standard 3300 XL Series. It functions as a non-contacting sensor to measure shaft vibration, axial position, and dynamic displacement within heavy rotating machinery.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System has a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on fluid film bearing machines. The large 11 mm tip enables this transducer system to have a longer linear range compared to our standard 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System.
Application:
Marine Propulsion: Utilized in large ship propulsion shafts and turbochargers to ensure structural integrity and mechanical alignment under varying loads.
Centrifugal & Reciprocating Compressors: Measures radial vibration, shaft position, and phase reference (Keyphasor signals) to prevent seals from breaking.
Pumps and Expanders: Monitors critical fluid-film bearing machines processing volatile gasses or petroleum.
Pulp, Paper, and Sugar Mills: Protects large utility fans, industrial shredders, and massive boiler feed pumps susceptible to heavy fatigue.

Q:Which monitoring systems is it compatible with?
A:The probe is intended for use as part of the 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System and is compatible with Bently Nevada 3500 Series monitoring systems as well as other compatible 3300 XL platforms. For optimum accuracy, the probe, cable, and Proximitor sensor should be matched as a complete system.
Q:Can this probe be used independently?
A:No. The probe is only one component of the 3300 XL proximity transducer system. It must be used with a compatible 3300 XL Proximitor® Sensor and the matching cable configuration to achieve the specified measurement accuracy and linearity.
Q:What measurements can this probe perform?
A:When installed as part of a complete transducer system, the probe can measure shaft radial vibration, axial position, shaft eccentricity, differential expansion, and rotor movement. In certain applications, it can also be used for speed or phase reference measurements when configured accordingly.
