Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330709-000-100-10-02-00 is an industrial-grade 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe. It provides non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on heavy rotating machinery.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor is designed to replace the 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems. When upgrading from the 7200-series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must be updated. If using a 3500 Monitoring System, an updated version of the configuration software that lists the 3300 XL 11 mm Transducer System as a compatible option is required.

Radial Vibration & Position: Continuous tracking of high-amplitude shaft wobble and dynamic alignment within large fluid-film (hydrodynamic) bearings.
Ramp Differential Expansion: Measuring the variance in thermal growth rate between a steam turbine's rotor and its casing during startup and shutdown cycles.
Axial (Thrust) Position Measurements: Monitoring the physical displacement of a machine's shaft along its axis to prevent catastrophic metal-to-metal collision within bearings.
Centrifugal Compressors: Continuously watches multi-stage compressor shafts for microscopic misalignments and unbalance.

Q:Can I use this 1.0-meter probe with any extension cable?
A:No. To maintain system calibration, the combined length of the probe and extension cable must match the required sensor configuration, which is typically a 5-meter or 9-meter system. This 1.0-meter probe requires a 4.0-meter or 8.0-meter extension cable respectively.
Q:What are the recommended mounting torque values?
A:Probe Case (M16 x 1.5): Tighten to 21.1 N⋅m (187 in⋅lb). Do not exceed 63.3 N⋅m.Coaxial Connectors: Finger-tight is recommended; do not exceed 0.565 N⋅m (5 in⋅lb).
