Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330704-000-100-50-11-00 is an 11 mm Proximity Probe belonging to the industry-standard 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System. It is for non-contacting vibration and axial displacement measurements on fluid-film bearing machines.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System has a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on fluid film bearing machines. The large 11 mm tip enables this transducer system to have a longer linear range compared to our standard 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System.
Application:
Axial (Thrust) Position: Measuring the physical thrust drift of massive rotor shafts to prevent destructive rotor-to-stator contact.
Ramp Differential Expansion: Monitoring how much faster a turbine rotor expands relative to the outer casing during thermal startup cycles.
Radial Shaft Vibration: Tracking eccentric shaft orbital paths inside fluid-film bearing journals at high speeds.
Large Centrifugal Compressors: Continuously tracking axial movement under intense gas pressures to avoid thrust bearing breakdowns.

Q:Does the probe require custom field calibration?
A:No. The probe is factory-matched to function seamlessly with any standard 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor and extension cable that totals a 5-meter system length.
Q:How tightly should the ClickLoc coaxial connector be joined?
A:The electrical connector should only be tightened finger-tight. Never use pliers or wrenches on the miniature coaxial connections, as the maximum rated connector torque is only 0.565 N·m.
Q:What is the proper installation torque for this probe case?
A:The recommended installation torque for the M14 x 1.5 thread body is 21.1 N·m (187 in·lb). The maximum allowable torque is 63.3 N·m (560 in·lb). Exceeding this can permanently strip or deform the stainless steel housing.
