Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330704-000-100-10-11-CN is an eddy-current proximity probe from the 3300 XL 11 mm series for machinery condition monitoring, fault prevention, and predictive maintenance.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System has a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on fluid film bearing machines. The large 11 mm tip enables this transducer system to have a longer linear range compared to our standard 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System.

Q:Can I use this probe directly with a 3500 Monitoring System?
A:No. The proximity probe cannot be wired directly into a monitoring rack. It must be connected via an extension cable to a matching 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor. The Proximitor converts the physical gap into a dynamic AC/DC voltage or 4-20mA signal for the Bently Nevada 3500 Platform.
Q:What is the standard measurement range of an 11 mm probe?
A:Bently Nevada 11 mm probes are deployed when a wider linear measurement range is needed than what the standard 8 mm probes offer. The 11 mm transducer system yields a total linear range of 4.0 mm (160 mils), compared to the 2.0 mm range of 8 mm systems.
Q:Can I connect this 1-meter probe to a 5-meter or 9-meter system?
A:Yes, but you must use the correct matching extension cable. For a 5-meter system, use a 4.0-meter extension cable. For a 9-meter system, use an 8.0-meter extension cable. The total length of the probe cable plus the extension cable must exactly match the tuned length required by your specific Proximitor Sensor.
