Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330704-000-080-50-02-00 is an industrial 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe for measuring vibration and shaft displacement in critical rotating machinery.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor replace the 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems. When upgrading from the 7200-series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must be updated. If using a 3500 Monitoring System, an updated version of the configuration software that lists the 3300 XL 11 mm Transducer System as a compatible option is required.

Fluid-Film Bearing Monitoring: Tracks dynamic radial vibration and static oil-film clearances inside large sleeve/journal bearings.
Industrial Compressors: Used on large-scale centrifugal air compressors, axial flow process gas compressors, and industrial refrigeration units.
High-Power Pumps & Generators: Monitors shaft alignment and rotational stability in high-capacity water flood pumps, boiler feed pumps, and power plant generators.
Oil & Gas (Upstream/Downstream): Offshore platforms, refineries, and pipeline pumping stations.

Q:What are the power requirements of the system?
A:The matched Proximitor Sensor requires a -17.5 Vdc to -26 Vdc power supply at a maximum consumption rate of 12 mA. Operating with power more positive than -23.5 Vdc will significantly reduce the linear tracking range of your sensor.
Q:Can I connect this 5.0-metre probe directly to a 5.0-metre Proximitor Sensor?
A:No. A 5.0-metre Proximitor Sensor expects a 1.0-metre probe paired with a 4.0-metre extension cable. Connecting a 5.0-metre probe directly into a 5.0-metre Proximitor without an extension cable will cause major calibration and voltage output errors, disabling accurate machinery protection.
Q:What Proximitor sensor is required for a 5.0-metre probe?
A:When paired with a matching 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor, it delivers a nominal output sensitivity of 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil).Because this probe features a 50 option (5.0-metre total length), it must be paired with a 9.0-metre system Proximitor Sensor used alongside a separate 4.0-metre extension cable.
