Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330704-000-060-90-01-CN is an industry-standard 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements in critical rotating machinery. This metric thread eddy current sensor translates the gap between the probe tip and a conductive target into a precise voltage output.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System has a 3.94
V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on fluid film bearing machines. The large 11 mm tip enables this transducer system to have a longer linear range compared to our standard 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System.
Application:
Steam Turbines: Used primarily for measuring ramp differential expansion, which ensures the rotor and casing expand safely relative to each other during start-up thermal shifts.
Reciprocating Compressors: Applied for continuous "rod drop" or rod position monitoring to track rider band wear and prevent critical piston-to-cylinder contact.
Hydroelectric & Gas Generators: Monitored for thrust (axial) position and large shaft radial vibrations to safeguard heavy rotating assemblies.
Heavy Duty Industrial Pumps & Fans: Tracks structural shaft behavior under fluid-film bearing operations.

A:Yes. To get a valid measurement, you must connect this 9.0-meter probe to a matching 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor configured for a 9.0-meter system length. Do not mix it with 5.0-meter systems or 8 mm sensor lines, as doing so will ruin calibration.
