Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330704-000-030-10-02-00 is an 11 mm proximity probe from the 3300 XL 11mm Proximity Transducer System, primarily engineered for continuous machinery protection, fluid-film bearing monitoring, and non-contact vibration analysis in critical industrial assets.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor is designed to replace the 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems. When upgrading from the 7200-series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must be updated.

Steam and Gas Turbines: Monitors severe axial thrust displacement and high-amplitude radial vibration.
Centrifugal and Axial Compressors: Tracks fast-rotating shaft stability and guards against surge-related thrust damage.
Large Industrial Pumps & Fans: Detects misalignment, unbalance, and bearing wear patterns before catastrophic failure.
Gearboxes and Generators: Measures shaft position variations under changing load conditions.

Q:What Proximitor Sensor must I use with this probe?
A:You must connect this probe to a 1.0-meter system compatible 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor combined with a matching extension cable to match the overall electrical length required by the sensor (typically a 5-meter or 9-meter total system). Do not mix it with 5 mm, 8 mm, or 25 mm sensor systems.
Q:What is the target material used for calibration?
A:The system is factory-calibrated to a standard AISI 4140 steel target. Using other metals will alter the output sensitivity and system accuracy.
Q:Is the probe tip pressure-sealed?
A:Yes. The probe uses an integrated Viton O-ring designed to seal differential pressure between the probe tip and the case. However, they are not custom pressure-tested by the factory prior to shipment unless specifically requested.
