Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330703-000-100-50-12-00 is an 11 mm proximity probe belonging to the 3300 XL series. It is primarily used for machinery condition monitoring and predictive maintenance in heavy industrial environments to detect potential faults before catastrophic failure occurs.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor is designed to replace the 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems. When upgrading from the 7200-series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must be updated. If using a 3500 Monitoring System, an updated version of the configuration software that lists the 3300 XL 11 mm Transducer System as a compatible option is required.
Application:
Turbines (Steam and Gas): Used for axial (thrust) position measurements and monitoring ramp differential expansion.
Reciprocating Compressors: Specifically utilized for rod position or rod drop measurements to detect wear.
Centrifugal Compressors: Ideal for monitoring radial vibration and axial position where standard 8 mm probes lack sufficient reach or linear range.
Pumps and Motors: Provides continuous vibration monitoring and phase reference (Keyphasor) signals to ensure operational stability.

Q:Can this probe be fully submerged?
A:The probe tip and body are rated for 100% condensing humidity and are fully submersible. However, ensure the ClickLoc connector link is safely housed inside a dedicated junction box or connector protector sleeve to prevent fluid ingress from shorting out the high-frequency signal.
Q:What is the recommended gap voltage during installation?
A:For a properly gapped 3300 XL system, your normal gap voltage should measure approximately −9 V to −11 V DC when the monitored shaft is resting in the center of the probe's linear operational range.
Q:What is the scale factor and output configuration?
A:When coupled with a matching 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor, the system produces a linear voltage output of 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil). The default calibration target is standard AISI 4140 steel.
