The Bently Nevada 330703-000-050-10-01-00 is a 3300 XL 11mm proximity probe for critical machinery health monitoring. It is primarily used in industrial environments for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on machines equipped with fluid-film bearings.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System has a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on fluid film bearing machines. The large 11 mm tip enables this transducer system to have a longer linear range compared to our standard 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System.

Q:Can I submerge the connector or cable in liquids?

A:The probe cable is insulated with fluoroethylene propylene (FEP), which offers heavy environmental sealing. However, the ClickLoc connector is only rated for 100% condensing relative humidity and is not submersible unless a specialized moisture-proof connector protection boot is completely sealed over it. High or low pH chemical baths will also degrade the polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) probe tip over time.
Q:What target material is this system calibrated to?
A:By default, Bently Nevada designs and calibrates these eddy-current systems for AISI 4140 steel targets. Utilizing other target metals without manual recalibration will cause reading errors and skew the accuracy of your linear range.

Q:What is the correct gap voltage when installing this probe?
A:when properly spaced and the target shaft is centered within the probe's linear range.When properly gapped and centered within its linear range, the system typically outputs a normal gap voltage of −9 VDC to −11 VDC. Always measure this output at the Proximitor sensor terminals during mechanical adjustment before locking down the probe.
