Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330703-000-080-50-02-00 is an industrial-grade 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe, which functions as a critical part of a non-contacting eddy current transducer system. This probe measures shaft vibration, axial thrust position, and keyphasor data in heavy rotating machinery like turbines and compressors.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor is designed to replace the 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems. When upgrading from the 7200-series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must be updated. If using a 3500 Monitoring System, an updated version of the configuration software that lists the 3300 XL 11 mm Transducer System as a compatible option is required.

Steam Turbines: Specifically used for ramp differential expansion measurements and monitoring bearing housing struts.
Gas Turbines: High-temperature variants of these systems are used inside exhaust paths.
Reciprocating Compressors: Utilized for rod position or "rod drop" measurements.
Fluid-Film Bearing Machines: Primarily used for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements.

Q:Do I need specialized tools to connect the ClickLoc joint?
A:No. The integrated ClickLoc connector requires only finger-tight torque. Simply twist the gold-plated collar until you hear or feel it "click" into place. The engineering mechanism natively prevents the cable joint from backing out due to machinery vibration.
Q:Can I connect this 5.0-meter probe directly to an extension cable?
A:No, you must verify system length matching. Because the option code -50 designates a 5.0-meter total integrated cable length, it is designed to plug directly into a 5.0-meter system Proximitor Sensor without any intermediate extension cable. Adding an extension cable will alter the system capacitance and degrade measurement accuracy.
Q:What target material must be used for precise calibration?
A:The system is factory-calibrated by Bently Nevada using a target made of AISI 4140 steel. If your machine shaft or target material uses a different alloy, the accuracy and interchangeability specifications will shift, requiring custom field recalibration.
