Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330400-02-CN is a rugged, API 670-compliant accelerometer transducer paired with the 130539-30 (a 30-foot, 3-conductor shielded interconnect cable). This specialized combination is primarily used for casing vibration measurements and high-frequency monitoring on critical, heavy-duty industrial machinery. These accelerometers are intended for critical machinery applications where casing acceleration measurements are required, such as gear mesh monitoring. It provides an amplitude range of 50 g peak and a sensitivity of 100 mV/g. The 330425 is identical except it provides a larger amplitude range (75 g peak) and a sensitivity of 25 mV/g.

Q:What is the proper installation torque for the 330400 sensor?
A:The sensor must be torqued to 4.1 N·m (3.0 ft·lb). Over-torquing can warp the internal crystalline structures or strip the thread, whereas under-torquing degrades high-frequency signal transmission accuracy.
Q:Can this accelerometer be used in wet or humid environments?
A:Yes. The 330400 features a hermetically sealed case capable of handling 100% condensing relative humidity. However, it is not rated for submerged use. The fluorosilicone boot on the 130539-30 Interconnect Cable seals the terminal connection against oil and moisture ingress
Q:What power supply parameters are required?
A:The system requires a continuous negative power supply input of -24 ±0.5 Vdc. It draws a nominal 2 mA bias current and outputs a nominal -8.5 ±0.5 Vdc bias voltage under rest conditions.
