Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330174-00-05-10-02-00 is a highly specialized 3300 series 5mm armored proximity probe for non-contact vibration monitoring, shaft displacement tracking, and over-speed measurements in heavy industrial rotating machinery.The 3300 5 mm probe and 3300 XL extension cable have corrosion-resistant, gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors. These connectors require only finger-tight torque (connectors will "click"), and the specially engineered locking mechanism prevents the connectors from loosening. The connectors require no special tools for installation or removal.

Q:What target material is this system calibrated to?
A:By default, the matching Proximitor sensors are factory-calibrated to AISI 4140 steel targets. Measurements on different metals or shafts under 76.2 mm (3 inches) in diameter will shift the scale factor.
Q:Why am I experiencing unstable gap voltage or signal drift?
A:Because the probe terminates in a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector, moisture, oil, or dirt ingress can easily corrupt the connection. Ensure the connections are dry and protected using an official connector sleeve or junction box.
Q:Does this 1-meter probe require an extension cable?
A:No. According to Bently Nevada's architecture, 1-metre probe systems do not use an extension cable. They connect directly from the probe to the corresponding Proximitor Sensor.
