Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 330104-07-14-05-01-00 delivers the most advanced performance in our eddy current proximity transducer systems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability.

Q:What range of motion can this probe accurately measure?
A:The 3300 XL 8 mm sensor offers a total linear measurement range of 2.0 mm (80 mils). This window begins approximately 0.25 mm (10 mils) away from the target face and extends smoothly out to 2.25 mm (90 mils). For radial vibration, the recommended calibration gap is normally set at -9 Vdc (about 1.27 mm or 50 mils from the shaft).
Q:Can I connect this probe directly to other Bently Nevada legacy systems?
A:Yes. The 3300 XL 8 mm probe series is physically and electrically interchangeable with non-XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm components. This means you can integrate this probe into older systems without rebuilding or changing existing bench calibrations.

Q:What is the maximum mechanical pull strength of the cable?
A:The structural integration features a patented CableLoc design, offering an exceptionally secure bond. The assembly safely withstands a maximum rated tensile pull strength of 330 N (75 lbf) from the probe case to the probe lead, and 270 N (60 lbf) at the extension connector interface.
