Product Description:

The 330103-02-12-05-02-05 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

A:Yes, this probe has a short 0.5-meter integrated cable. It requires a separate 75 Ω triaxial extension cable to reach a total system length of either 5.0 meters or 9.0 meters. The system must match the calibration length of your Proximitor sensor.
Q:Can I mix and match components?
A:Yes, all genuine Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm components offer complete physical interchangeability. You can replace the probe, extension cable, or Proximitor sensor independently without the need for individual component matching or bench calibration.

Q:What power supply and signal type does it use?
A:The proximity system requires a -18 Vdc to -26 Vdc power supply (nominal -24 Vdc). It operates using the eddy current principle to generate a low-power RF signal, returning an output voltage that is directly proportional to the gap distance.
