Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330101-02-12-15-02-00 is a highly specialized configuration of the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe. It is a non-contact eddy current sensor for machinery condition monitoring, specifically tracking vibration, shaft displacement, and rotational speed.The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.
Application:
Radial Vibration: Measuring dynamic shaft motion within the bearing clearances to detect unbalance, misalignment, or mechanical looseness.
Axial Thrust Position: Measuring static movement along the longitudinal axis of the shaft to prevent catastrophic internal contact between rotor blades and stator casings.
Speed & Keyphasor Timing: Tracking precise RPM and phase reference angles by observing a notch or keyway cut into the spinning shaft.
Power Generation Plants: Monitors vibration and rotor position in thermal or hydroelectric plan.

A:Yes. The 3300 XL 8 mm components are physically and electrically interchangeable with non-XL 3300 5 mm and 8 mm systems. However, mixing components defaults the overall performance envelope to the legacy (non-XL) system limits.

A:The normal operating gap voltage range is -9 VDC to -11 VDC when the probe is centered in its linear range. A standard installation typically targets -10.0 VDC.
