Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330101-00-44-05-02-05 is a 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe featuring a 3/8-24 UNF thread and no armor. It is for critical vibration and position monitoring on fluid-film bearing machinery.The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advanced performance in our eddy current proximity transducer systems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems provide this level of performance and support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components.

A:You can perform an electrical continuity check with a multimeter. Set it to resistance mode and verify there is no short circuit (infinite resistance) between the cable conductor and the machine ground.
Q:Does it require calibration when mixed with other parts?
A:No, the 3300 XL series supports complete interchangeability. You can swap the probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor without bench calibration.
Q:What is the linear measurement range of this probe?
A:The probe has a linear range of 0.25 mm to 2.0 mm (10 to 80 mils). It generates a stable output voltage of -200 mV/mil (-7.87 mV/µm) proportional to the distance from the target.
