Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330101-00-15-20-02-CN is an industry-standard 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe primarily targeted at critical vibration monitoring, shaft position tracking, and condition monitoring in heavy rotating industrial machinery.The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

Oil & Gas Refineries: Deployed on critical machinery like process gas compressors, large pumps, and gas turbines.
Petrochemical Plants: Monitors high-speed machinery dealing with chemical synthesis and distillation loops.
Power Generation Stations: Tracks shaft deflection and axial thrust displacement inside steam and hydro turbines.
Municipal Infrastructure: Installed on large-scale water treatment aeration blowers and regional distribution pumps.

Q:Is the 2-meter probe compatible with a 5-meter Proximitor?
A:No. The 2-meter probe (total length code "20") is designed for use with a 1-meter Proximitor sensor. Use the matching Proximitor for your total system length.
Q:Is this probe interchangeable with other 3300 series components?
A:Yes. 3300XL 8mm components are fully interchangeable with each other and backward compatible with non-XL 3300 5mm and 8mm system components. No bench calibration is required when swapping probes, cables, or Proximitor sensors.
Q:Can I use this with a target material other than AISI 4140 steel?
A:The Proximitor is factory-calibrated to AISI 4140. Calibration to other target materials is available upon request; accuracy and interchangeability specs apply only to AISI 4140.
