Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330101-00-08-20-02-05 is a 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe. This industrial-grade, non-contact eddy current displacement sensor measures static shaft position and dynamic shaft vibration. The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advanced performance in our eddy current proximity transducer systems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems provide this level of performance and support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components.
Application:
Chemical Plants:High-speed fluid-film bearing compressors, circulation pumps, agitators for shaft orbit and bearing wear continuous trending.
Oil & Petrochemical:Centrifugal gas compressors, refinery process pumps, pipeline booster trains. Standard -52°C ~ +177°C temperature range fits most compressor casings.
Power Generation:Steam/gas turbines, turbo generators, boiler feed pumps, large ID/FD fans. Performs radial vibration, thrust position, Keyphasor phase and overspeed monitoring, fully API 670 compliant.
Oil & Petrochemical:Centrifugal gas compressors, refinery process pumps, pipeline booster trains. Standard -52°C ~ +177°C temperature range fits most compressor casings.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q:What matching system parts for this 2m probe?
A:Must pair with 330180 5-meter Proximitor + 3m extension cable (33013-030). Total probe + extension length shall equal Proximitor rated 5m length. Not compatible with 1m Proximitor.
Q:Factory calibrated target material?
A:Default calibration on AISI 4140 steel. Aluminum, stainless steel shafts shift scale factor and void interchangeability tolerance. Custom target calibration available via -05 certification option.
Q:Mechanical cable restrictions?
A:Probe head pull strength 330N; connector joint pull limit 270N. Minimum cable bend radius 25.4mm, smaller bends damage triaxial cable performance.
