Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 21508-02-12-10-02 is a reverse-mounted eddy current displacement/vibration probe sensor specifically designed for monitoring industrial rotating machinery. This product belongs to the classic and reliable Bently Nevada 7200 series (5mm/8mm) proximity sensor system. It accurately measures the static and dynamic clearance between the surface of the measured metal shaft and the probe end face in a non-contact manner.

Q:How to determine the probe installation distance (gap) during installation?
A:Fine-adjust the probe tightness until the voltage display shows -10.0 Vdc. At this point, the probe is exactly in the center of the linear measurement range (gap approximately 1.27 mm).
Q:What is the measuring range and sensitivity?
A:The 7200 series 8mm probe features a linear measuring range of 80 mils (2.0 mm). It features a nominal scale factor sensitivity of 200 mV/mil (7.87 V/mm) when paired with its matching Proximitor sensor.

Q:Which monitoring systems can this probe connect to?
A:The probe works natively with the 7200 Proximitor Sensor and is compatible with legacy 3300 and 9000 Monitoring Systems.
