Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 200350-09-00-00 Accelerometer is a general-purpose, case-mounted seismic transducer compatible with the Seismic Input Card (part number 149811-02) and the Seismic Direct Input Card (part number 164746-01). Each unit features a top-mounted 2-pin MIL-C5015 connector for easy signal cable installation and removal, while a ¼-28 threaded hole on the bottom of the casing provides multiple mounting options. Internally, the 200350-09-00-00 contains a piezoelectric sensing element that generates charge when exposed to vibration; this charge is electronically converted into a differential voltage signal proportional to the acceleration along the transducer's sensitive axis.

Cooling tower fans: Detects blade unbalance, structural looseness, and gearbox faults.
Water circulation pumps: Catches impeller cavitation, misalignment, and bearing wear.
Air compressors: Tracks case vibration to detect mechanical breakdown early.

A:No. The 200350 sensor hardware is designed exclusively for positive excitation voltage systems (+18 to +28 VDC). Do not use it with legacy systems providing negative excitation voltage (-Vex), as it will cause false data telemetry or permanent damage.
Q:What kind of cable connection does it use?
A:The top of the sensor features an industry-standard 2-pin MIL-C-5015 electrical connector. It connects via a 2-conductor twisted, shielded pair cable.
