Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 200150-22-CN is a general-purpose, case mounted Trendmaster Pro Piezoelectric Accelerometer designed primarily for casing vibration monitoring on rotating and reciprocating industrial machinery. The 200150 Accelerometer also operates with the Trendmaster 2000 system. The accelerometer interfaces with the 200100 Dual Acceleration to Velocity flexiTIM Module and the 89130-01 Acceleration-to-Velocity TIM (Transducer Interface Module), as well as the 1900/25 and 1900/27 monitors.

Pumps & Fluid Handling: Continuous monitoring of water, chemical, and fuel transfer pumps to detect early cavitation, bearing wear, and shaft misalignment.
Industrial Fans & Blowers: Tracking casing vibration on heavy exhaust fans, cooling tower fans, and ventilation systems to prevent unbalance and sudden structural failure.
Electric Motors: Managing the mechanical health of electric drive motors by detecting rotor imbalances, stator issues, and bearing degradation.
Centrifugal & Screw Compressors: Constant asset health assessment of plant air and process gas compressors where high-reliability operation is mandatory.

Q:What maintenance steps are recommended for harsh environments?
A:To maximize longevity in wet or thermally cycling environments, apply Dow Corning DC4 electrical insulating compound (or equivalent silicone grease) onto the 5-pin connector contacts before mating the cable. This prevents corrosion, rejects ambient humidity, and mitigates moisture damage from thermal shocks.
Q:Can I substitute the 200150 with a 200155 or 200157 sensor?
A:No, substitution is highly discouraged without hardware profiling. The 200155 and 200157 variants measure higher frequency bands (up to 10 kHz). Standard Trendmaster Acceleration-to-Velocity modules contain built-in filters that attenuate signals above 1 kHz. Mixing models with unmatched modules will result in faulty or severely attenuated vibration data.
Q:Which interface cable should be paired with this sensor?
A:The sensor features a top-mounted 5-pin 1/2-20 connector. It pairs natively with the Bently Nevada 200151 or 200152 standard interface cables. These 4-conductor, 22 AWG shielded cables offer an IP67-rated moisture seal.
