Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 190501-21-00-01 is a specific configuration of the Velomitor CT (cooling tower) velocity sensor. This housing-mounted sensor is a low-frequency sensor primarily used to monitor structural vibrations in large, low-speed industrial fan assemblies and cooling towers operating at speeds not lower than 90 RPM.The Velomitor CT velocity sensor is a low-frequency version of the standard Velomitor piezoelectric velocity sensor. It is specifically designed to measure the housing vibration velocity of cooling towers and air-cooled heat exchanger fan assemblies, which typically operate at speeds not lower than 90 rpm (typically ranging from 100 to 300 rpm). Furthermore, the Velomitor CT sensor can also measure the vibration amplitude within this frequency band, as well as the vibration frequency generated by the fan motor and reducer.

Application:

Low-Speed Water Pumps: Tracks casing vibration on vertical or horizontal high-capacity intake and treatment pumps.
Large Gearboxes: Monitors structural vibrations on high-torque, low-RPM gearboxes where high-frequency acoustic monitoring is ineffective.
Heavy-Duty Ventilation and Industrial Exhaust Fans: Deployed on slow-speed primary air supply and exhaust fans within mines, steel mills, and pulp mills.
Large Aeration Blowers and Agitators: Monitors slow-turning mixing systems and water processing aeration equipment. Its heavy-duty 316L stainless steel casing protects it against high humidity and corrosive moisture.
