Product Description:
The 190501-18-99-04 Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical). The Velomitor CT Transducer can measure vibration amplitudes at these frequencies as well as the vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.

Cooling Towers: Monitors the mechanical drive trains of cooling tower fan assemblies, which are prone to severe structural elements strain and moisture.
Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin-Fans): Used on heavy industrial heat-exchanger fan units typically found in chemical and refining complexes.
Slow-Speed Rotating Equipment: Effectively targets systems with a common operational envelope between 100 to 300 RPM.
Industrial Balance Monitoring: Pinpoints common early-stage mechanical faults like rotor unbalance, structural looseness, and motor-to-gearbox misalignment.
