Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 190501-16-00-01 is a specific part number configuration for the Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer, a low-frequency sensor designed primarily for monitoring casing vibration on cooling towers and air-cooled heat exchangers.The Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical).

Q:Does this configuration require wiring changes during installation?
A:No. It utilizes a standard 2-pin MIL-C-5015 top connector. Pin A goes positive relative to Pin B when the casing velocity moves from the base toward the top of the sensor. It is compatible with existing 3500-series or 1900-series monitoring racks without field re-wiring.

Q:How far away can the transducer be cabled from the monitor?
A:The sensor can support a maximum continuous cable length of up to 305 meters (1,000 feet) to your junction box or machinery protection system without losing signal integrity.
