Product Description:

The 190501-12-99-04 Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical). The Velomitor CT Transducer can measure vibration amplitudes at these frequencies as well as the vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.

Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Refineries: Deployed in harsh, hazardous plant environments requiring certified explosion-proof equipment (per its 04 CSA approval option).
Industrial Fan Motors & Speed Reducers: Tracks imbalances and misalignments originating from the driver motors and gearboxes linked to cooling equipment.
Power Generation Plants: Monitors large-scale utility water-cooling systems critical for keeping steam turbines running efficiently.
Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin-Fans): Monitors large aerial coolers used in heavy processing plants where low-frequency structural resonance can cause blade or structural failure.
