Product Description:

The part number 190501-05-99-01 refers to the Bently Nevada Velomitor CT (Cooling Tower) Velocity Transducer. This specialized, low-frequency piezo-velocity sensor is engineered to monitor machinery casing vibration.The Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical). The Velomitor CT Transducer can measure vibration amplitudes at these frequencies as well as the vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.

Cooling Tower Fans: Monitors large, slow-moving fan blades to identify unbalance or structural anomalies.
Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE): Tracks casing vibrations on extensive fan assemblies used in steam condensing systems.
Slurry & Processing Cooling Towers: Measures casing velocity to identify mechanical misalignment and bearing wear.
Speed Reducers & Gearboxes: Captures low-frequency vibration frequencies generated by fan drive reduction gears.
