Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 190501-04-99-01 is a part number configuration for the Velomitor CT (Cooling Tower) Velocity Transducer. This specialized, low-frequency sensor is designed primarily to monitor casing vibration velocity on slow-speed, rotating industrial machinery.The Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity oncooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical). The Velomitor CT Transducer can measure vibration amplitudes at these frequencies as well as the vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.

Application:

Cooling Tower Fan Assemblies: The sensor is explicitly designed to measure casing vibration velocity on cooling tower fans. It tracks mechanical faults in the fan blade assemblies, drive shafts, and related structural foundations.
Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin-Fans): Widely used across industrial processing facilities to monitor low-speed fan assemblies responsible for heavy-duty process cooling.
Industrial Water Treatment: Employed on low-speed water circulation pumps, aerators, and large mixing agitators.
Power Generation Plants: Monitoring induced draft (ID) and forced draft (FD) fans, as well as main cooling infrastructure elements.
