Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 190501-06-99-01 is a specialized Velomitor CT (Cooling Tower) Velocity Transducer manufactured by Bently Nevada. It is specifically engineered to measure low-frequency casing vibration on slow-speed machinery.The Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical). The Velomitor CT Transducer can measure vibration amplitudes at these frequencies as well as the vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.

Condenser Cooling Fans: Protecting slow-speed induced-draft and forced-draft fans in thermal power plants.
Fin-Fan Coolers: Condition monitoring for overhead condenser air coolers used in refining and chemical processing.
Fan Assemblies: Monitoring severe imbalances, structural loosening, or aerodynamic issues on large, low-speed fan blades.
Fan Motors: Tracking structural and bearing vibrations transmitted through the motor housing.

Q:Can I extend the integrated cable if 32 feet is too short?
A:Yes. According to the Bently Nevada 190501 Datasheet, you can extend the field wiring up to a maximum length of 305 metres (1,000 feet) using part number 02173006 twisted-shielded cable with zero signal degradation. Extensions must be properly spliced or routed via an intermediate junction terminal.
