The 1788-CNET ControlNet daughter card is a ControlNet communication card in the Logix 5000 Control systems that is used for linking FlexLogix controllers, PowerFlex 700S controllers, and DriveLogix controllers to devices connected on the ControlNet network for easy monitoring and for the control of remotely located I/O modules on the ControlNet network.

The 1788-CNET daughter card is a versatile communication card that supports I/O bridge functionality, the transfer of data via tags, communication with other ControlNet nodes, communication through NAP (Network Access Port), the use of 200-micron cables for connection to a network, and a redundant media module.
