Product Description:
The PLC 1771-DS is a latching module with an input of 10-27V DC. It latches and detects pulses with a duration of 0.1-5.0 ms. Using an input terminal, the module discovers pulses and puts a bit within a corresponding image address table during the next I/O scan. The 1771-DS module responds to pulses by using an optical sensor which has an isolated gate output and an isolated pulse output.

The PLC 1771-DS provides two operating modes for each input: independent operation or paired operation. In independent mode, each input responds individually to pulses. In paired mode, the module can be configured to respond to a specific pulse or to a gate signal, offering flexibility for a wide range of automation applications.
