Description

Eight 4–20 mA source input channels are available on the PLC Module 1771-NIS/B for connecting analog field instruments. Loop power is supplied directly by the module at 20–30 VDC, allowing many transmitters to operate without a separate external supply. Installed in a 1771 I/O chassis, the module draws 2.4 A of backplane current with a total power consumption of 12 W. It is compatible with PLC-3, PLC-5, and PLC-5/250 controllers used in existing 1771 automation systems.This 1771-NIS/B module is widely used in heavy industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, wastewater treatment, and power generation.
